Steps to set up your Blue-Fin Bluetooth and phone

Before you use your Blue-Fin Bluetooth unit you must "pair" it with your Bluetooth enabled mobile phone. This is what you do:
1. Plug the car kit into the cigarette lighter socket.
2. Place the car kit and mobile phone no more than 1 metre apart.
3. Ensure the car kit is OFF.
4. Press & hold the "MFB" button(refer pictorial diagram in the instruction manual) for 6 seconds until you hear a long beep and the blue LED remains on. NOW you are ready for "pairing".
5. Find your mobile phone guide details – search for Bluetooth devices as per your mobile phone guide.
6. Select "car Kit" from the list.
7. When prompted Enter the pre-programmed passkey "9999" and press 'OK' to "pair" the car kit and phone. When complete, you will hear a long beep, the car kit LED will flash blue every 3 seconds and you are now in standby mode.
