Steps to set up your Blue-Fin Bluetooth and phone
Important: Please fully charge your unit before use.
Before you use your Blue-Fin Bluetooth unit you must “pair” it with your Bluetooth enabled mobile phone. This is what you do:
- Place the speakerphone and mobile phone no more than one metre apart.
- Ensure the car kit is OFF.
- Press & hold the “MFB”button (refer pictorial diagram in the instruction manual) for 6 seconds until the LED flash Red & Blue alternatively. You are now ready for “pairing”.
- Find your mobile phone guide details – search for Bluetooth devices as per your phone guide.
- Select “BT Speaker” from the list.
- Enter the pre-programmed code “0000” and press “OK’ to “pair” the speaker phone & mobile phone. When “pairing” is complete the blue & red LED stop flashing, the speaker phone is under standby mode with the blue LED flashing every 3 seconds.
- Press “Return” to go back to your mobile phone’s main menu, you are now “paired” and you should notice the Bluetooth symbol on your mobile phone… you are now ready to accept and make calls using your retriever car kit.
